Heathfield Court is a mansion-block of apartments that faces the historic Turnham Green in Chiswick, West London.
The Court is composed of four apartment blocks surrounded by well-maintained gardens: There is also a central area which presently has mature trees sited in a lawn with some flower beds.
The four blocks consists of an assortment of one and two bedroom flats. The total number of flats is seventy-four. The residents of the flats make a varied community ranging from young professionals to retired people, many of whom have resided in Heathfield Court for a long period. Associated with Heathfield Court are thirty-nine garages which are also leased by some of the flat lease-holders. Parking for twenty cars is available in the Court. Heathfield Court operates a parking permit scheme to control the limited number of spaces. Alternative parking is available on the streets in the locality, residents being able to obtain a Residents Parking Permit from the local authority.
A service charge is levied on each lease-holder which each year is used to pay for the upkeep and maintenance of the property. The services of a porter and a gardener are also included in the charge.
A Board of Directors elected from volunteers of the body of lease-holders looks to the longer-term management of the property while the day-to-day running of the property is the concern of appointed property,management agents.
